Request for Reconsideration of Library Materials and Programs

The Camden County Library selects and retains materials and resources in accordance with criteria set forth in the Library’s Collection Development Policy, COL-1. Library sponsored programs are selected and presented in accordance with criteria set forth in the Library’s Programming Policy, CUS-7. While a Library user may not agree with the viewpoints offered in some materials or programs, the Library has a responsibility to provide access to balanced collections and programs that represent the needs of our diverse communities.

Procedures for requesting reconsideration of items in the Library’s collections and programs are outlined in the Library’s Challenged Material and Programs Policy, COL-3 Completion of this form is the first step in those procedures.

The Library Director will send written responses to all requests for reconsideration.
