Read in the New Year Tradition Continues at Five Library Branches

Story times, crafts, countdowns and drawings are part of the fun at some branches

VOORHEES, NJ - December 19, 2016 - The Camden County Library continues its tradition of offering Read in the New Year programs for children of different ages at five branches. Planned activities vary by branch, but they all give youngsters the chance to celebrate the holiday their way.

Three Read in the New Year celebrations will include a countdown, craft, stories and lots of fun:

South County
Ages 3 – 8
Friday, December 30, 11 a.m.

Merchantville
All ages
Saturday, December 31, 11:30 a.m.

Haddon Twp.
Wednesday, January 4, 6:30 p.m.
Family

 

Bellmawr will be offering a prize drawing:
Ages Newborn -18 months
Tuesday, January 3, All Day
Start the New Year off with a good book! Participants can stop by the library and read in the New Year to enter their name for a prize drawing.

Cruz-Perez Downtown Branch celebrates Three Kings Day:
Ages 12 and under
Thursday, January 5, 5:30 p.m. Ring in the New Year with a special story time. Participants can decorate their own crown in the tradition of Three Kings Day.
